Top Best 10 Features In OxygenOS
OxygenOS stays true to Google’s vision of Android while offering plenty of customization options. The OxygenOS is one of the best Android implementations that is available in the current. Instead of providing a highly customized interface such lie the Chinese rivals of it, the OnePlus is keeping things really simple, adding verity of differentiating features on top of a vanilla user interface. There are also enough of tweaks and gestures which simply allow you customize your experience, but still the main focus is on performance.

The Reading Mode simply creates a monochrome effect Instead of switching to a warmer color, this makes reading texts really great. You can activate this mode manually or even set it to automatically launch for certain apps that you want. For example, if you have probably installed the Kindle app on your OnePlus 6, then you can enable the Reading Mode to launch automatically whenever you engage with the app, the great thing is it leaves the rest of the user interface unchanged.
Last year, the OnePlus rolled out a Gaming DND mode, and now with the OnePlus 6 this mode is completely getting an overhaul and a new name — Gaming Mode.
Activating the Gaming Mode will simply silence all incoming notifications with the exception of calls and alarms. This feature also gets you a real prioritizes network traffic for the games, by limiting the amount of bandwidth for the background apps. At the end of last year, the OnePlus introduced Face Unlock, and it is proven to be safe to say that the manufacturer’s implementation is one of the fastest around the competition.
The face unlock feature is designed to take over 100 data points to verify your facial features, even if the feature is not that secure as the fingerprint sensor does. The OnePlus says as such while people are setting it up. Somehow, this is another convenient way to unlock your smartphone.
Selfie portrait mode and Light Bokeh

Starting with the OxygenOS 5.1.6, you can probably use the portrait mode with the front camera either. The edge detection feature for the front camera is not as fine-tuned as the single sensor up front, but still the feature offers an easy and good way to get a blur effect with your selfies.
The OxygenOS 5.1.6 build is also introducing a Light Bokeh mode which creates light patterns when you are using the portrait mode with the rear camera. You can choose one among the various patterns, for example stars and hearts. And this feature adds those patterns in the background of your portraits, which is really cool.
