Installation guiding and procedure for Android 7.1 Nougat ROM on Samsung Galaxy S3 – Model 19300 Only

how to install Android Nougat 7.1 On Samsung Galaxy S3

When it comes to Android 7.1.0 based custom ROM for Samsun galaxy S3, it might have sound weird. However now it is possible to get this going by using AICP (Android Ice Cold Project) custom firmware for this flagship device of the good old days.

Actually speaking AICP was started for HTC Desire HD and then upgraded to a more advanced ROM. Since it was lollipop the ROM was AOKP based. AOKP has temporarily paused its development work or will comeback in a different version. It is thought to be changed when it comes to hardware, drivers and some other features.

This custom ROM is associated with some exciting features. Including CM14.1 Cynogen MOD 14.1 based on Android 7.1 for that old device but much reliable and stable. Repeatedly found to be a reliable, fast and Custom ROM.

The features associated with Android 7.1 are system animations, Power menu animation, LCD density charger, status bar icon control, Percentage like battery icon, brightness control, notification count, Quick pulldown, Presence of Superuser, lock screen shortcuts, lock screen blur, Anywhere gestures, auto launch of music app when headphone is connected and three finger swipe for a screenshot. Apart from these features there are many other features that can be of great use.

As the ROM is at it’s developmental stage so be aware some of the features will not work at their best.

Before you flash the ROM it is recommended to fully wipe off the device. Also try to avoid restoration of system apps and data using Titanium Backup(as it may cause irrecoverable debugging issues). These can cause stability issues. It is because the newly flashed ROM may not be able to incorporate the previous system data and apps due to compatibility issues. Also make sure you have sufficient battery backup
